A disease is a particular abnormality within your body which causes certain symptoms and conditions to appear in or on your body. Diseases can come from anywhere, including people, animals or bacteria. Some diseases have cures and don't last as long as others, whereas other diseases have no cure and effect you your whole life. Certain medication is issued to certain diseases and other remedies such as physiotherapy help diseases ease. Diseases have stages which you go through to either help you prevent or prepare for a disease. Different diseases have different symptoms and abnormalities. If you think you have a contagious or any type of disease, contact your doctor straight away. It is best to be immunised against all diseases.
